Directions Materials: c. 60 yds of light worsted yarn (such as Sorrento, Cotton Classic, or Suede); size F crochet hook; 1 1 ½ D ring; beads for fringe (optional).

NOTE: role treble. YO hook 3 times, insert hook in st, YO and draw through (5 loops on hook),   [YO and draw through 2] 4 times.

Instructions: 1. Ch 3, work 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook and in next ch = 2 sc.
2. Ch 1, 2 sc in eac st = 4 sc.
3. Ch 1, 1 sc in first st, 2 sc in each of next 2 sts, 1 sc in last st = 6 sc.
4. Ch 1, 1 sc in each st.
5. Ch 1, 1 sc in each st, but work an extra sc in one of the middle sts = 7sc.
6 10. Ch 1, 1 sc in each st.
11. Ch 6 (acts as first dtr and ch 1), dtr in 3rd st, *ch 1, skip 1 st, dtr in next st, repeat from * once more = 4 dtr.
12. Ch 1, 1 sc in each st and ch 1 space (make sure to work 2 sc in the ch 6 of the previous row, as it counts for a ch 1 space and a stitch!) = 7 sc.
13 17. Ch 1, 1 sc in each st.

Repeat rows 11 17 for the pattern. Work to desired length, ending with a row 17. Add fringe to finished end, with beads as desired. Pull starting end through D ring and sew down.
