Join us on Mondays at Elegant Stitches at 1pm or Thursdays at Tropical yarns at 1pm to have fun with friends and work on a new pattern every week. We start the week of February 1 with the Ripple Scarf knit pattern (bring size 8 needles to use worsted yarn or size 10 to use chunky). Each week a new idea for yourself or for gift giving.

This might seem like a strange topic for a yarn store, but we do a lot of animal rescue support - especially for Paws4You dog rescue. We are collecting old towels and bathroom rugs to cushion the crates and kennels. Please drop off old items at either store and we'll take care of keeping some dogs comfy who otherwise would be sleeping on cold concrete.
